Bhaktapur · Leadership & Organisational Development

Sabina Sharma

I joined Women's Voices of the Himalayas for guidance from experienced women leaders — to strengthen my leadership, build confidence in my decisions, and make a greater impact in my work. The biggest change has been believing more in my own potential. I used to ask whether I was ready for new opportunities; my mentor taught me to focus on growth rather than perfection.

“I now see leadership as creating positive impact rather than simply holding a position.”

Finding my voice now means sharing my ideas, making thoughtful decisions, advocating for myself and others, and leading with authenticity. She helped me see that I was capable of much more than I believed, and encouraged me to keep investing in my MBA, think beyond my current role, and trust that I can contribute at a higher level.

In my work I support women entrepreneurs, strengthen organisational processes, and contribute to initiatives that create impact in communities. I take part more confidently in discussions and encourage collaboration in my team. The greatest gift is that confidence — and the inspiration to support and uplift other women as I continue my own leadership journey.
