Nepal · Girls' Empowerment

Rajina Neupane

I joined looking for a space that would challenge me beyond my comfort zone, and for a community of women walking a similar road. What I hoped for most was clarity and confidence in my own voice.

“Finding my voice means trusting my perspective enough to share it, and recognising that my experiences have value.”

The biggest shift has been in how I see myself. My confidence has been building, along with a more open way of looking at people and situations. Finding my voice now means trusting my perspective enough to share it.

Recently I moved into a new role advocating for young girls' empowerment — work that asks more of me than anything I have done before. I don't think I would have had the confidence without this journey. That, and a mentor relationship that continues to shape how I lead, is the gift I am taking away.
