Puja Chaulagain

I joined because I wanted to grow, learn from other women, and become a stronger role model for girls in my community. Before the programme I sometimes hesitated to share my opinions or take the lead, afraid of making mistakes.

“Finding my voice means knowing my worth, and having the courage to make sure women's and girls' experiences are heard.”

Through mentoring I have learned to trust myself and believe that my voice matters. Finding my voice is not only speaking in front of others — it is knowing my worth, and making sure women's and girls' experiences are heard and respected.

I am using my voice by sharing my ideas, encouraging others, and speaking up when I see the need for change. The greatest gift I am taking away is confidence — and the responsibility to remind other women that their dreams matter.
